The fabric for this beautiful garment is block printed.  Block Printing uses a hand-cut block, made of wood or linoleum . After the block has been carved, ink is applied, and then fabric is printed. It's a technique that's been around for more than two thousand years.  Each run of fabric has its own unique colour variations which may be different from the pictures here.
