Are you a Runaway baby, looking for adventures into new places? Curious about the world around you. This is the girl we imagined when we created our next Autumn Winter collection, Runaway Baby, we had this girl in mind.
Free-spirited and independent, dressing like you are ready to take on anything, with a softness at heart and a strong backbone, navigating your way through life with comfort and ease. Layered with your favourite worn jeans, hats and denim jackets to complete the look.
We created this collection on our first "escape" from Australia, we were sitting in this boutique apartment block in South Bombay, where I was one of the first guests to arrive after Covid, we had the whole floor to ourselves and spread out, made the most of the atmosphere. It was a perfect setting for the imagination to fire up again.
After finishing our first round of fabric and print sourcing we sat down in the common area and signed with relief that we were back out there, hands on, feeling the inspiration, we were like a couple of Runaways, liked we'd runaway from home for the first time, but now we were allowed, still felt a bit naughty.
Revisiting the times of free love and the close bond to community and nature, these prints and shapes were created to bring your back to those feelings. Wandering through the streets of any city, meeting friends, and chatting about the good times. Setback and challenges are shared with empathy amongst the closest of besties.
We love this era, and making this collection feels closest to the heart of Naudic as it’s a time we grew up in. Enjoy the lightness of wearing these cotton fabrics, a mixture of block prints, patched with lurex schiffli and feminine anglaises embellished with small sparkles.
I'm back in London now with Runaway pieces packed ready to wear around the streets with my flared jeans, overcoats and a fun hat, which I need to find in the markets today. Plus my lived in comfy boots that come on every adventure with me. Grab your pieces now and go make some fun memories in your Runaway Baby collection.
Enjoy, Emma.
