For the price, I was expecting more. I was disappointed that the neck tie is fixed, rather than a drawstring - a quick/cheap alternative over thoughtfulness. The cotton is light (again cheap option) but will be cool through the hot months. The embroidery is beautiful however one flower, after one wear, has a loose thread so wasn't finished well and I have no idea how to stop it unravelling. I washed it on gentle cycle in a special large bag however the tassles already look a bit ratty. For the price I thought this would be a special dress, but it already looks like an everyday dress . Its nice/fine/ok but I am disappointed overall and would have given 3.5 stars if I could.

We choose light cotton and that particular neckline for comfort and breathability in our warm climate, but we completely understand if you were hoping for a different feel. The embroidery is all done by hand, which can sometimes mean small variations, though a loose thread certainly shouldn’t happen after one wear. We are very happy to arrange an exchange for you.
A little care tip — the handmade tassels love a gentle brush with a soft hair brush after being laundered; it helps them look perfect again!
